One tool instead of ten tabs
We spent a long time watching how private tutors actually work, and the picture was always the same: the schedule in a calendar, students in notes, payments in a spreadsheet, exercises on third-party sites, video in a separate messenger. Each service does its part well — but stitching them together every day falls on the tutor. That time should belong to the lesson.
knowlee brings it into one window: schedules and lesson series, student profiles, payments and balances, a library of exercises and games, a video classroom. Not a set of modules that don't talk to each other, but one connected workflow — from adding a student to running the lesson and recording the payment.
A feature should remove work, not add steps
This is the filter for everything we build. If it needs a long explanation, or asks you to fill in fields just in case, it isn't ready. We would rather cut than add another button.
The basics shouldn't sit behind a paywall
The free plan stays free. A tutor with their first three students and a tutor with a full week have different needs — but the same right to a decent tool.
The tool exists for the student's result
We build exercises, tests and homework so the language actually sticks — with repetition, feedback and visible progress — not to make a feature list longer.
